Claim your Technorati blog

In order to increase your blog visibility, it is recommended to claim your technorati blog. This way your blog will be registered with technorati.com and your profile will be created.

First you must sign up for technorati account. Then sign in to your account and click Edit. There is a location that reads:

You don’t have any claimed blogs. Claim them here!

Click the link that reads Claim them here

There are two methods to do this:

Quick claim
Post claim

The first method requires you to enter your blog’s username and password to verify that you are the blog owner. Not recommended because of security reasons. Only You must know your password by definition.

If you use WordPress and wish your post to stay at or near the top of Technorati list, than you must tag it. This is easily achieved by plugin called TagalizeIt. It allows you to put search tags on your blog. The plugin is fairly easy to install and works fine.
